What has been delivered

1oT OÜ, a global provider of IoT and M2M connectivity solutions, offers a platform that helps device manufacturers manage mobile data across various regions, simplifying operations by removing the need for multiple SIM cards and contracts. As the IoT industry expanded rapidly, 1oT needed to enhance its platform’s performance and scalability to support global growth, requiring a flexible and cost-effective solution. We partnered with 1oT to provide IT Staff Augmentation and development services, focusing on backend development with Java, PostgreSQL, and AWS and modernizing the front end with Angular.js and Vue.js to improve user experience. Our international team, consisting of one Java backend developer, one full-stack developer (Java & Angular), one Angular frontend developer, and one Vue.js frontend developer, worked from Poland and Estonia to implement a microservices architecture, ensuring the platform could quickly scale as 1oT expanded. This collaboration allowed 1oT to accelerate feature rollouts, improve platform flexibility, and enhance the overall experience for their global customers, positioning them for future growth in the international IoT market.

Flexibility is the key value we’ve taken from this cooperation. We chose nearshoring for the balance between cost and efficiency.
